Just as a Christian cannot serve two masters, Christian education cannot serve multiple masters. In church, we pray that God is the master, in the classroom we memorize that the prestigious university is the master, and in the home, we insist that our child is the master. As a result, education will gradually become distorted, like a wrongly performed plastic surgery.

This is the current state of Christian education in our time. It has been a long time since we have been unable to find human virtue and a long time since our academic standards have declined.

This is because there is no neutral ground in education. You cannot build a house of truth on a foundation of falsehood. You cannot properly teach God’s word based on non-biblical presuppositions. Unfortunately, there is no room for compromise in education, where you can separate character education and spiritual education while conducting entrance-centered education.

SICA carries the classical education centered on Jesus Christ (Trivium) with the heart of David, facing reality like Goliath. Through the excellence of the Christian classical education that has been proven, students who have established the foundation of wisdom are expected to continue learning and grow as a channel of good influence.

As a mother who raised all three children at home school, as a music director who has led the home school youth orchestra for over 10 years, and as an educator who taught students at the university, I will sincerely scatter the seeds that are desperately needed on this land for the recovery of God’s education that makes God be God.
